07 Jul INCinema OUTside in Udine Welcomes Over 300 Attendeed Each Night
The free outdoor film series INCinema OUTside wrapped up in Udine (Italy) with remarkable success. Nearly 300 spectators attended each evening at Udine’s Giardino Loris Fortuna, enjoying four vibrant nights of inclusive cinema under the stars.
As the summer open-air edition of the inclusive festival INCinema, the series brought the magic of cinema to everyone — including audiences with sensory disabilities.
All screenings were fully accessible, featuring subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing and audio description for blind and visually impaired audiences.
This was the second edition of this unique accessible open-air film series in Udine, organised by Sub-Ti Access in collaboration with the association Libero Accesso.
INCinema founder Federico Spoletti commented: “We are thrilled by the turnout in Udine. This confirms that making cinema and art accessible is not only an act of inclusion but an enrichment for all. When barriers come down, culture truly becomes a common good.”
After Udine, INCinema OUTside will continue this summer in Florence and Sappada.
