INCinema: The Inclusive Film Festival Expands to London and New York

Since 2023, Sub-Ti Access has been proud to support INCinema – the first Italian film festival created to be fully accessible to audiences with sensory disabilities. After touring seven Italian cities – Florence, Lecce, Rome, Turin, Udine, Milan, and Trieste – the festival is now expanding internationally with screenings in London and New York.

Founded by Federico Spoletti and directed by Angela Prudenzi, INCinema ensures that cinema can truly be experienced by everyone through subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing and audio description for the blind and visually impaired. Accessibility extends beyond the films themselves: introductions, Q&As, and collateral events are also made fully inclusive.

More than just a festival, INCinema is a pioneering model of cultural inclusion, inspiring other film festivals to embrace accessibility and open their doors to all audiences.
